Most small businesses have difficulties getting a credit card and many struggle with handling all of their paper receipts. Qred, one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, will approve credit cards in real time and automate their customers’ accounting when launching the first credit card specifically designed for small businesses in the Nordics.
Stockholm, 11 May, 2021 - Today, fintech company Qred launches their own credit card product: the Qred Card. The segment of small business owners have historically experienced difficulty gaining approval for a credit card from banks - something Qred has set out to change. Their new card is first in line of many new products planned for launch, enabling entrepreneurs to operate on a level playing field to that of bigger corporations.
“Small businesses have been widely overlooked in terms of financial services for a very long time. So much effort and funding goes into consumer products or enterprise solutions but small businesses, the heart of our economies, are often ignored. We want to change that and have been diving deep into the habits and problems small businesses face and we have managed to find ways of helping them save time so that they can focus on building what they love and are passionate about.” says Emil Sunvisson, CEO at Qred.
In November last year, Qred received its AIS/PIS license and has since then been working on developing their own credit card and app made specifically for small businesses. The card has been produced and adapted to the everyday needs of business owners and is therefore the first of its kind. The credit card has been created in partnership with Visa.
“Visa is constantly looking for ways to offer the most developed solutions to our clients. Joining forces with the innovative Fintech Qred, given their background of working closely with the small business segment, is definitely something that will improve the credit card industry, “ says Helene Podsadni Nilsson, Head of Fintechs, Nordics & Baltics at Visa.
The Qred Card is being launched later this year and small business owners can now sign up on a waiting list to be first in line for the Qred card. Read more about the card here: https://www.qred.com/en-se/card
