Qred Bank ranks fifth in Westnova's assessment of Sweden's most profitable banks in 2025, measured by return on equity. With a return of 17.97 percent, Qred Bank places ahead of several well-known players in the Swedish banking market.
Qred Bank continues to demonstrate strong profitability. In Westnova's compilation of Swedish banks' return on equity for 2025, Qred Bank is ranked as the fifth most profitable bank in Sweden.
According to the compilation, Qred Bank's return on equity was 17.97 percent. This places Qred ahead of, among others, Northmill Bank, Norion Bank, Noba Bank Group, and Swedbank.
"The fact that Qred is ranked as Sweden's fifth most profitable bank, measured by return on equity, is strong validation of our business model. We have built a digital and data-driven bank where technology, AI, and human expertise are used to make faster and more accurate decisions for small business owners," says Emil Sunvisson, CEO of Qred Bank.
Westnova's ranking shows that niche banks continue to dominate the top of the list. Of the ten banks with the highest return on equity, the majority are niche banks or investment banks.
For Qred Bank, this ranking is further proof that it is possible to combine growth, digital innovation, and responsible financing. Since its inception, Qred's goal has been to make financing simpler and more accessible for small business owners.
By using data, automation, and AI in the credit process, Qred can analyze more relevant data points and provide business owners with faster decisions, while ensuring lending is sound and responsible.
"Small businesses are the backbone of the economy. Our role is to give them better access to financing when they need to grow, invest, or manage their liquidity. Our data-driven model allows us to be both fast and thorough, creating value for both customers and the bank," Emil Sunvisson continues.
Qred Bank offers, among other things, business loans, corporate cards, and other financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises.
